Andrea Bosca is an Actor and Director based in Rome, Italy. He speaks English, French and Spanish

I was born in Canelli, between the hills of Langhe and Monferrato, Italy. I was raised by a Piemontese artisan-bakers’ family. I carry with me the love, dedication and care with which I was raised behind the counters of my family’s bakery. When I was 12 years old I found myself fascinated with theatre and inevitably fell deeply in love with it.

I Graduated at Teatro Stabile School in Torino directed by Mauro Avogadro. Among the others, my teachers were Director Luca Ronconi and Massimo Popolizio. I’ve always had a deep real passion for lyrics, verses,  poetry and … freestyle Rap music. I became part of Teatro Stabile Di Torino Company and went touring with a theater’s play called “Il Benessere” by F. Brusati and “La Donna del Mare – The Woman of the Sea” by H. Ibsen both directed by M. Avogadro, starring Elisabetta Pozzi.

Through my investigation and studies throughout the years I’ve been being able to work with Luca Ronconi and members of the Actor Studio like Michael Margotta, Doris Hicks, as well as with Susan Batson and Tom Radcliffe who is S. Meisner direct apprentice.

Acting: Love at first sight!. The set turns out to be another ground field for my talents as an actor. International productions roll out in which I can develop diverse, challenging and truthful characters. Between Cinema and television, my different roles go from being the typical noble gigolo as in the Italian TV show “Raccontami” directed by Riccardo Donna, to an extreme of a serial killer character in the TV series “Il Zodiaco” by Eros Puglielli. I started to receive prizes and recognition from the entertainment industry  with the films “Si Può Fare – We Can Do It” directed by Giulio Manfredonia, “Noi Credevamo – We Believed” by Mario Martone (Silver Ribbon Award) , “Febbre da Fieno – Hay Fever” by Laura Luchetti, “Gli Sfiorati – The Drifters” by Matteo Rovere (Biraghi Award) and “Magnifica Presenza” by Ferzan Ozpetek.

Back to Theater with a play called “Jakob Van Guten” directed by Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli produced by The Rome Theater and LaCasaD’Argilla. I worked as well as a co director and interpreter in the play “Come Vivo Acciaio” ,  an adaptation of  the book written by Beppe Fenoglio “A Private Matter”. In the occasion for the reopening of Eliseo Theater of Rome, I performed in the play “Una Tigre del Bengala allo Zoo di Baghdad – A Bengal Tiger in a Baghdad Zoo” along with Luca Barbareschi.

The journey continues with some other titles: “Romanzo Famigliare” by Francesca Archibugi”, “La Dama Velata”, “Grand Hotel”, the international production “Medici – Master Of Florence”,  the American ABC series “Quantico” along with Priyanka Chopra. The innovative TV series “La Porta Rossa – The Red Door” directed by C. Elia and the series about the birth of Italian Fashion Industry that changed the world “Made In Italy – The Series” currently on Amazon Prime.

I have written, directed and interpreted a short film “A Tutto Tondo” which was awarded a special category prize of Il Nastro D’Argento for social attention.

I have written with my colleague Paolo Briguglia my  Theater monologue “La Luna e i Falò – The Moon and the Bonfires” and I am currently on tour with this show adapted from the masterpiece of Cesare Pavese, in which I revive my people, my roots and momentum towards the world.

I love poetry, running, cinema, good cuisine, dancing, rap music and writing, and one day…

I believe in being an open actor towards people, to be able to listen and that is able to grow thanks to the exchange of profound stories with my colleagues and with the public. Living each moment with my soul the reality of an imaginary world of acting. Disappear to reappear and reveal myself into intimate depth.
